Using your Stored MFA Recovery Code to Log in

This article provides instructions for using your saved Recovery Code if you are unable to access your preferred Multi-Factor Authentication method.

This code should have been stored safely when MFA was initially enabled for your user account. 

Note: If you do not have the Recovery Code from when you set up MFA, please contact Support.

How to use your Recovery Code

1. Visit the ParishSOFT Accounting login screen.
2. Enter your Email and select Continue.
3. Enter your password and select Continue.
4. On the Verify Your Identity screen, select Try Another Method.

5. Select Recovery Code.

6. Enter the Recovery Code you saved when you set up MFA.
7. Click Continue.

8. Copy the new Recovery Code and check the 'I have safely recorded this code' checkbox.
9. Click Continue.
